London Language Institute’s summer picnic. Irene and her friends attended a one-month course at London Language Institute, which gave the students a BBQ picnic, as well as many trips and activities, including a baseball game in Toronto, a trip to Niagra Falls, and a trip to the CN Tower and Toronto Island.

In April 2009 we visited Toronto’s Kensington Market and Chinatown area with Sophie and Hae Young. |

We visited Kensington Market, an old Toronto neighbourhood with many small and unique shops, and Totonto’s chinatown, one of the largest traditional Chinese communities in North America. Later we stopped for sushi at a Japanese restaurant in downtown Toronto. |

Canada has many winter activities, and skiing and snowboarding are very popular. Ski resorts near London include Boler Mountain and you can also take longer excursions to Blue Mountain and many other ski resorts. |

In Ontario in the spring there are many 'Sugar Bush' festivals that celebrate making maple syrup, Canada's most famous food! Itziar with a farm horse at a Sugar Bush. |
